My experience with Stenwood Elementary has been disappointing. I expected a more welcoming and supportive environment for both students and parents, but unfortunately that has not been my experience. As a working mother, I have found the school to be inflexible and not very accommodating to parents who cannot easily attend activities or events during the workday.I also have concerns about the academic experience. I would like to see more opportunities for students to be challenged, engaged, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Communication and partnership with families could also be much stronger.

I went to Timber Lane for 7 years. My best friend transferred to home-school due to bullying and harassment. The school did nothing about it. The bullying was so bad for a few of my friends that they started skipping. Is this really the school you want to send your kids to? Safest option instead of going to Timber Lane is to send your children to Graham Road Elementary School or home-school.
