    "Lots of people walking dogs on leashes. No dogs allowed at the playground. There are no nearby dog parks within walking distance. Mill Mountain trails are great but watch out for mountain bikers. "

    "It’s a very dog friendly neighborhood. There are a lot of dogs. The black poodle down the street acts like it is going to run after you but it never leaves the yard. So that’s a little surprising when walking and then you get used to it."

    "We have lived in this area for 20+ years ... it is so accessible to major roads, public transportation, shopping, a major medical/research hospital and schools (public or private). Many restaurants are nearby along with a public greenway for walking/biking, a vibrant downtown area, mountain hiking trails and the Blue Ridge Parkway is nearby. A wonderful place to live."
