    "College sports, open lecture series and theater, cultural and historically significant sites, bars, restaurants, live music venues, farmers market, running and walking trails."

    "This area of the city (College Heights) has a lot of college kids, but is not very college friendly compared to other college towns. The main shopping area for the college is several blocks away from campus and requires some form of motorized transportation to get to. If you try to make any changes to your house, the ARB (Architectural Review Board) will make it next to impossible for you; even if keeping with the same style of structure. While the police department is has high visibility, the fire and rescue service in Fredericksburg takes forever to respond to calls, most times requiring help from other counties."

    "The town of Fredericksburg (proper) is truely the last best kept secret in any area that is accessable to DC. Few places are still small town and yet so convient to DC. We lived there for a year or so before we had to move for a new job...and LOVED it!."
