Jacobs Road Elementary School provides a truly exceptional educational environment where children genuinely thrive. Both the teaching staff and the administration consistently go above and beyond to create a safe, supportive, and highly engaging community for students and their families.

BEWARE!!!! Child safety is not the #1 priority at this school. I called the school hours prior to dismissal to inform the front office that my child would be parent pick up only for my child to end up on the bus. Contacted the principal Samantha Wade after reaching out to the front office again only for them to avoid accountability, deny the fact that no one was told (besides my efforts), apologize and excuse the fact that Jodi Poh “forgot” to tell my child’s teacher in an attempt to smooth things over as if children’s safety is not a priority and they can just forget to inform the teacher of transportation changes.

Banner Christian School has been a nurturing, well-rounded and safe environment for our children. The staff are caring, approachable and genuinely invested in the students. The academic program is excellent, and the teachers are dedicated and truly outstanding. We’ve been very pleased with our experience.

We couldn’t be more grateful to have found Guardian Christian Academy. The school has truly helped our children grow in both faith and character.Academically, the curriculum is rigorous and focuses on building strong critical-thinking skills. Every 12th grader is required to complete a Senior Thesis Project. It’s a year-long project that helps students graduate with the ability to research, write, and communicate confidently at the college level. They also have a special on-campus partnership with Mount Vernon Nazarene University and GCA offers two free college classes to their Juniors and Seniors each year.We did a lot of research before applying, and one of the things that really set GCA apart from the other schools in our area was its facilities. The school has a STEM room, technology lab, huge gym, well-equipped theater, and multiple outdoor spaces. This has translated into our children having more athletic and elective options available on campus, which also means less driving around in the evenings for us.
