"Alden Bridge is a wonderful place for dogs. We walk our Shiba everyday on the trails and it’s always a pleasant experience. Friendly people, lots to explore and everything is clean and well maintained. "

"Very dog friendly, with lots of parks and walking trails. Many neighborhoods have dog parks and provide bags and trash cans to clean up after your pet. This is the best neighborhood I’ve ever lived in! I love it here!"

"I grew up in this neighborhood. We had block parties every Halloween and all came together for hurricanes. I had so many friends that lived so close and we were always able to walk to school. I loved growing up here. "

"Great neighborhood with very nice small neighborhood parks and larger area wide parks. Good pathways for walking or bike riding. "

"Schools in the area are fantastic. Our neighborhood in particular has kids that get together in the summer to play kick the can and capture the flag. Look for neighborhoods in Alden Bridge that are cul de sac neighborhoods. Don’t live on a street that has two outlets. "

"Perfect neighborhood kid walk/bike to school. Markets, schools, ice cream, pizza, parks, playgrounds, community pools all a short distance away on perfectly maintained bike paths. "

"Our neighborhood watch coordinator has mad skills, keeping us appraised of new people moving in, and working hard to create a sense of community. Clovergate has a special Halloween potluck for everyone before the kids go trick-or-treating. "

"so far as I know, there is no public transportation within Alden Bridge. The commute to Houston is long. There is a park - n - ride here, but it only stops in a few stops in Houston and the last time I used it, it ended pretty early in the evening. "

"We have a loud-mouthed bigoted neighbor who makes it her full time job to know about everyone else’s business and make sure the whole neighborhood knows about it too. "

"Lived here for nine years. My children would go out with the neighborhood kids to play kick the can and capture the flag. They ranged in age from 4 to 14, and would play until well after dark. Safe, happy, warm summers. "

"The pathways through the woods and the Bear Branch dog park. They would not like that some people don’t adhere to leash rules or the may like it if they are an irresponsible dog owner."

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’ve got two kids and Ellisor and we have been very happy. The academics are challenging, the teachers work hard, the principal is very supportive and proactive, and safety is important. The PTO also plans really great events and works hard. My only complaint is that the kids don’t get enough recess, and are on screens too much, but I think that’s across the board at most schools.Parent Review1mo ago19 Reviews - Bush Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are a military family that retired here in The Woodlands. Our kiddo has been to two previous elementary schools and Bush Elementary has been the best elementary school. We communicated with the school that our kid was a new student and the transitions issues that I could see happening in the future. The school staff (her teachers and assistant principal) were very helpful! We have been at Bush Elementary for two years and the teachers have always been helpful and communicate when your child is struggling. Safety was a huge thing for us, and they will not allow you pick up your student unless you are on the list and have notified the appropriate staff. To me everything is about communication, and I think Bush Elementary is a great school for your kids. They organize fun events for the kids to attend and push together fundraisers for the school as well.Parent Review1y ago12 Reviews - St. Anthony of Padua School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have very mixed feelings about this school. On the positive, the school is very safe, clean, and kids seem to be very respectful. Large class sizes as you would expect in a Catholic school unfortunately. However, there are some disappointing politics within the administration. For instance, the new principal appears to show favoritism toward certain parents. Parents should be cautious about voicing concerns regarding teachers or curriculum, as doing so can result in being quietly excluded from volunteering opportunities or serving as a room parent—even if concerns are raised respectfully. While the school promotes a strong “family” message, families who speak up about certain issues often feel punished instead. I have two children enrolled here, and many parents share the impression that there is a culture of fear and favoritism stemming from the top of the administration. The teachers are very strict, with discipline being at the center of focus. I would not suggest coming here for early ages, as many teachers are not warm and welcoming to little children.Parent Review8mo ago20 Reviews - Primrose School Of The Woodlands At College Park
