Despite what the reviews may say, my four years of being a New Hope parent has been a great experience. Any time I've had issues or concerns with my child's teacher or staff, they have been addressed. As parents, we must take accountability for our child's education and not rely on schools to do that for us. As a single parent I foster a home environment as an extension of what my child is learning at school. I've had a great relationship with all my son's teachers in order for the three of us to have a great school experience.

It is very sad to see one of the major fibers of the Catholic Community close its doors after years of quality education and the ability to educate children of the values of the catholic faith. With the continuing closings of catholic schools, we loose more spiritual contacts with our future generations of Catholic worshipers and clergy. I hope the Diocese will begin a new revival in bringing our schools back to life!

What happen was my child like a couple days before school ended got into a fight with a girl who started with her first in basketball the girl pushed her then she pushed back then the girl started hitting her they went to the front office one girl got wrote up and got her field day taken away mean while my child got her parents called wrote up and the administrator or whatever said the other girls part of the story and never mention not one bit of my daughters story and these girls who were the other girl friend was saying my daughter fouls a lot in basketball but I see her play basketball and none of that happens and she’s quick to apologize for a foul and fighting is not like her so I know this wasn’t the only time they started messing with her and I am disappointed in the school for taking other people sides and being unfair I will leave a bad review on here .

Scenic Hills is a great school. The teachers and administrators really care about the students in this community. I am happy we finally got a caring group of people for our children.

This was one of the best schools I ever attended I had one English teacher who was a very lovely talented lady she took me in and taught me well she took me from making straight Fs to making Straight A's I received an award for akademiks for the most improved student a savings Bond for 1000 dollars or saving certificate back then it was the best thing that ever happened to me &the meal it was one of the best meals I ever had from the famous haha Peabody Hotel and the Ducks I remember the Ducks LOL. i know that don't sound like much today but it certainly was to me it was the difference to a child like me it was 2 me it was more than enough because I had no idea that I was going to receive an award for school back then no it just didn't happen but yes it did and it does make all the difference in a child's life and I just want to say thank you to Snowden Middle School she was the best teacher I ever had she's probably gone now passed away now she's living up there with the angels I will always remember her and still want to say thank you to let people know it was a blessing to me and that she was loved and appreciated she was a extraordinary teacher and 2 let people know there are good people some who make a difference in people's life and she sure made the difference in me
