"Private schools or public in the suburbs for parents moving from out of state to the Memphis area. School buses are about the only public transit. "

"Public schools outside of Memphis are great, surrounding suburbs. If you live in Memphis city limits, try private schools."

"There are different things the children can play, parks, you can go downtown and the pretty lights on different cars, prowlers, you can go riding on school buses for entertainment, here music with different lights on the bus, Beal street is open. There plenty of security around the city. When it is dark keep your children close to your side and enjoy yourselves."

"The neighborhood seems very nice. Everything was clean. The houses very organized. The grass was nice. The mail ran on time. The people seemed to be very friendly. Also there was not any Home owners association fees. Everybody seemed to a gravitational community."

"There is a giant, nice new dog park with a space for large dogs and a space for smaller dogs. There’s a little by river walk that’s wide enough for you to pass another dog, and tons of grass for them to run around in."

"I like where I live...a lot of places are very close. I can walk to the grocery store and Walgreens. I'm not use to living in the "City" so hearing the police sirens and ambulances too, I've gotten use to it"

"It is important as a parents to chose an area that's safe for the kids to play without having to worry about anything. An area that's close to the park and it's safe. Also do house shopping wuth kids and get kids views of the houses as it will give you an ideas and add your ideas and their ideas to compromise"

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would not recommend this school it has bad staff they curse out their students and my child from last year said that they didn't care about them but the grades below them epically first and second grade. They are more staff minded then any thing but their staff in the office is amazing they are so sweet unlike the principal and assistant principal. I hope this helps you find a good Elementary School for your child or childrenOther Review2y ago11 Reviews - Vision Preparatory Charter School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible experience with this school. My sons had a IEP in place and were placed on half days. Because the IEP team didn't make documentation of this, I received a truancy. I also received a call from the former principal stating the substitute teacher dragged my son by his arm and she was fired. The principal switched schools and never made a incident report. They do not have the proper setting for kids with disabilities. They make promises they don't keep. The IEP teacher started acting different after I spoke out. She doesn't have the proper knowledge for kids with Disabilities. They only put a IEP in place to cover their side.Parent Review2y ago2 Reviews - A B Hill Elementary School
