I have been harassed by teachers and student and even the principal. DO NOT GO HERE

Stiles point has a large number of excellent teachers and our overall experience has been excellent.GreatSchools has a couple of errors or things I think are unfair.1) Security is excellent. Full-time guards are present and access is well controlled.2) GreatSchools marks progress low. This may be true, but it's based on students already performing at the top of the range. As the parent of a G&T student here, I would like to see more done to help overachievers reach their full potential, potentially even advanced classes moving them through additional grade levels without officially advancing them above grade age, but it's difficult to fault the school for being full of high performing students.It's odd to see JI Elementary rated higher here. In terms of raw scores, Stiles Point has a much larger percentage of students achieving at or above grade level than JI does. We've considered whether it would make sense to try to get our child into Buist and decided against it.

Would not be my first choice. They do not challenge the children that are academically. Disruptive students cause the learning pace to be slow. There are 20 student per teacher with no help for the teachers. They have no homework or reading requirements. There are some great teachers here but we were very unimpressed with my child’s 5th grade teacher. We dealt with bullying twice and both times we were basically dismissed until we emailed CCSD. They do not prepare the students for middle school. They are academically behind.

Great schools, well organized program and always kept informed by staff and teachers of kids activities and progress.

James Island Christian School is an excellent place for children to learn in a Christ centered environment. The teachers are awesome, supportive, and engaged. A high standard of character is expected at the school and the staff/administration does a good job up holding and enforcing that standard. The curriculum is challenging and engages the learning process.

This is a wonderful school!! We have have 3 kids enrolled and couldn't ask for a better place for them to get a great education!! Great teachers and principal! I can't say enough good things about the he school and church. I'm a very proud supporter.

First Baptist School is a special place because its faculty and staff truly live out the mission of the school every day. From the classroom to the athletic fields, there is a genuine commitment to developing students not only academically, but also in character, leadership, and accountability. The teachers and staff consistently demonstrate care, integrity, and a desire to see students succeed.One of the greatest strengths of the school is its athletic program under the leadership of the athletic director. He is doing a fantastic job building a culture of excellence and respect. He holds both athletes and parents accountable for their actions, creating an environment where discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship are expected and valued. That level of leadership has helped create programs that are successful not only in competition, but also in shaping young people into responsible individuals.
