would NOT recommend this school, The teachers and principal are very rude to both students and parents. Another kid started to **Choke** my kid and the principal said the kid was "Just being a kid", my son told me he choked him and asked the teacher for help and did NOTHING. So glad we moved schools.

BFS is an amazing school where students thrive in an environment where they feel safe, supported, and genuinely appreciated for who they are. Because of these qualities, the students are definitely engaged, support each other, are confident, and advocate for themselves. The academics are strong and taught in an engaging way, which fosters a deep understanding and mastery of the subjects. I've found that the students in all grades are well-spoken, love to share what they've learned, and are happy! BFS also offers great special programming including weekly assemblies which open interests for the students, and Quaker meetings which give everyone in the community a chance to reflect. I also love how the students are active and outside! The kids really love to play in the new playgrounds, enjoy the beautiful open space, climb trees, and go sledding — which is awesome! All the new facilities are top-notch; they are light-filled, beautifully designed to reflect the school's attention to nature, and support the teaching and learning that take place in the classrooms. I'm very impressed with all that BFS has to offer!
