Homewood

We moved to the AW area for the schools and my son has attended Monclova for 3 years. We have been nothing but amazed by the teaching and administrative support. We are moving out of state at the end of the school year and are finding it hard to match the quality of AW schools! Go Generals:)

Great school! Great teachers! There are a couple reviews about bullying. In my experience, my 1st grader was bullied on the bus, and the school was on it. Talking to the accused. Making him write an apology letter. Principal, teacher, counselor, and bus driver working collaboratively together with us parents to make sure the behavior doesn't continue and my son was okay following the concern.Teachers and staff were exceptional during COVID hybrid school as well. Can't imagine how frustrating that was for them.

The turnover alone over the past 10 years should be concerning to anyone. I regret not listening to my child and continuing to send her here despite her constant pleas. Our experience was sooooo awful my children never want to step foot in a church again! I recommend looking elsewhere, there are many other schools in the area that offer a solid education! This school destroyed my kids view of Christians! The world behaves better than most people in this school!
