I love this school I will never regret transferring.

As a parent, I cannot recommend this school based on our experience with both student support and academics.Over the years, my child has experienced repeated bullying incidents. What has been most concerning is not that children occasionally make poor choices, but the apparent lack of effective supervision and intervention when problems occur.Most recently, I reported a bullying incident to the administration and spoke directly with the principal. I was told that the matter would be addressed and that other families would be contacted. After following up, I received little meaningful information about what actions had been taken.More troubling, my child reports that the bullying has continued during recess despite the school’s awareness of the situation. As a parent, it is difficult to understand how repeated incidents can occur during a supervised school activity without being observed or addressed by adults.Academically, we have also been disappointed. We have found the curriculum and classroom instruction to be insufficiently challenging, particularly for students who are performing above grade level. There appears to be limited differentiation or enrichment for students who are ready for more advanced work, resulting in a one-size-fits-all approach that does not meet the needs of every learner.In my opinion, much of the school’s positive reputation appears to be driven by the dedication and involvement of its families rather than by exceptional academic rigor. Many students succeed because they have parents who are highly engaged in their education and provide substantial support outside the classroom. Families looking for a truly challenging academic environment should ask detailed questions about curriculum expectations, enrichment opportunities, and how advanced learners are supported.In our experience, there has been a lack of communication, accountability, and proactive intervention regarding bullying, as well as a lack of academic rigor and differentiation.
