"crimes high. Albuquerque needs more cops, less money on expensive, non-funded, hasty public works. I love Albuquerque, but I love it because it's not like any other place one earth. I believe the money spent on tearing up Route 66 and spending millions of dollars taking Route 66 down to 1 Lane is a terrible idea. Crime and car theft are the really troubling thing about ABQ. I do love my city, the weather is the best and the food is amazing! Have lived in the Midwest for a couple years and have been to Europe for very short stints. I've lived here(ABQ) pretty much all my life so I do admit to being a little jaded and biast. I liked Autin and hate LA California, New Orleans was pretty sweet, and Denver is better than average just to give a little idea about my taste. Check out Salida, Co. .... thanks for reading "
