    "we do not have community events. your immediate neighbors are the only people you will know. you may be able to find community events at gastonia parks and recreation however those are mostly geared to the older citizens. "

    "Top-notch location for work or play! Central to all the good stuff in Gaston and just a short drive to Charlotte. The community is established and is home to both original owners and young families that really pride themselves on keeping that "community" mindset in taking care of their homes and each other. One of the best features too is that Gardner Park is surprisingly sheltered from the noise of being in Gastonia's "hub", yet just 1.2 miles to I-85 and direct access to the desirable businesses, restaurants, and medical care that Gaston County offers. There is an optional swim and tennis club for those who would like to become members. "
