Park Elementary is doing harm to children. They are robbing them of the skills they need to move forward in school. The teachers and administrators blame the students and the parents for poor test scores. They take no accountability for the failure in the district(much failure) and look for blame placement more than improvement. The school needs a leader that is not complacent and desires a great education for all children. I attend this school in the 80's...quality has bottomed out since then. Enrollment is decreasing as a direct result to poor test scores and horrific behavior which all starts with the staff. Parents try to be involved but are pushed away by the staff.

Our kindergartener s teacher, Mrs. Grieves won the Golden Apple Award. Our son was so proud of his teacher and being on TV was fun too .LOL. Her loving and positive energy has made our little guy love school. Half way through the year he is already reading level one books every night. His self-esteem is soaring! Our Second grader is in Mrs. Wilson's class. All I can say is WOW! Mrs. Wilson has her PHd and it shows!!! Our first grader is the reason we chose private school. He was struggling to learn his letters and sounds. The public schools didn't have the time or passion to help him and were ready to throw a label on him the second week of school. This has not been even close to our experience at St Anne s. Mrs. Wilson made special efforts to help our son develop his skills. She communicated her wonderful ideas with me, emailed me almost daily on his progress and most importantly, followed through until he caught up to the rest of his class! He LOVES to learn and read :D and Just the other week, won first place in the 1st Grade Geography Bee. My husband and I actually cried! Thank you St Anne s for all you have done for our children, you are amazing! God bless you!
