The neighborhood is warm, friendly and active! Several neighborhood events each year, a children's parade, ice-cream social, block parties, pets (and pet sitters) galore, with a very active list-server where people will lend or give you almost anything you need!"

    "This is a 7 minute walk to Forest Glen Metro. Great neighborhood. Disagree with other poster. This is a family area with kids and pets. Safe and friendly. Location of other poster is completely different. Check the area out for yourself. It's beautiful. Sligo walking/biking trail across the street."
