My family and I are truly honored for the opportunity to attend this school. From the moment I inquired about the late lottery acceptance, I was connected with the remarkable and kind-hearted Ms. D. Johnson. She demonstrated patience, thoroughness, and genuine care throughout the process. When I expressed uncertainty about acceptance into the lottery, Ms. Johnson reassured me of the value of the program and the excellence of its teachers. I am deeply grateful for her guidance and support. We are excited for our Pre-K3 student to begin this journey, and we look forward to a wonderful school year with the teachers and staff.

There are more than 3 classes the students work hard and teachers and other students work together and listen to one another to help this school grow.

As a father, I’ve been very impressed with this elementary school and the direction it’s heading.The teachers are dedicated and genuinely care about their students. They take the time to really know each child — recognizing their strengths, supporting their growth, and making sure they feel safe and valued. It’s clear they care about more than just academics; they’re helping shape confident, well-rounded kids.The school promotes an inclusive environment where students feel welcomed and respected. There are also meaningful opportunities beyond the classroom that allow kids to grow, build leadership skills, and explore their interests.Since the current principal stepped in, there’s been noticeable progress. Communication has improved, expectations are clear, and there’s a strong commitment to raising the bar and moving the school forward. It’s reassuring to see leadership that is truly invested.Overall, this is a school community that cares — and that makes a difference.

Indian Queen became the place that reminded me why I fell in love with teaching in the first place. Walking into the building each day felt lighter. The students are not only well behaved, but genuinely eager to learn. It was refreshing and uplifting to be surrounded by teachers who truly enjoy being with their students. There’s a real sense of joy in the classrooms and a culture built on collaboration, support, and learning from one another. You don’t feel alone here—you feel like part of a team.The parents are incredibly supportive and deeply involved in their children’s education, which creates such a strong partnership between home and school. And under Dr. McCall’s thoughtful guidance, the school is run with care, clarity, and heart.Indian Queen didn’t just give me a workplace—it gave me back my passion.

I have an exchange student that attended this school only because of his I-20 Visa requirement to attend a SEVIS school. The education offered here is very poor quality, you are better off keeping your money and placing your children in public school. Many unexpected fees popped up while our exchange student attended, to the tune of more than $12K. Additionally, my exchange student took an ACT exam at this school and they have refused to provide us with his scores after numerous attempts to obtain them via phone calls and emails.

St. Columba Catholic School is a wonderful, family-focused school. Our daughter will be entering her fourth year this upcoming Fall. We are very pleased with the quality of education, the concern and care from the faculty and staff, and the great sense of community with the other families. This is a great school for working parents, offering before care (starting before 7 am) and after care (ending at 6 pm). The School features a good variety of after-school activities including band and soccer. We signed-up for the karate lessons last year. The School features 10 grades, starting with Pre-K and graduating eighth graders. If you live or work within 10 miles of the school, it is worth your while to visit and see for yourself. St. Columba School consistently delivers an established and trusted private school education providing the complete academic experience from a convenient location to your work and home at an affordable price. Children from all faiths are welcomed!

This is an excellent school! I would recommend it to anyone wanting their child or children to succeed academically! My adult kids attended this school and now my granddaughter attends. I am so glad that it's here! The staff is very caring and cultivates independence in the child. If you try it, you will be glad that you did.
