Braeburn

We are a military family on a 2-3yr PCS cycle. This school is fantastic!!!!! The teachers, staff, admin and parents are great. My middle and youngest children attended and were supported with IEPs and 504s. They worked with us before school and during to be sure the kids felt ready and comfortable. They worked with me as a team to teach the kids how to advocate for themselves. They were knowledgeable and had great suggestions and ideas to help with adjustments. I am so thankful that we were able to spend the time here that we did!!! I hope they receive a Blue Star rating for being military friendly.

My son went to this school for almost a whole school year and unfortunately I had to pull my special needs son out immediately.I initiated updating my sons transportation and made three points of contact, two written, to update this. They mistakenly sent my special needs son to the wrong home to which we both had severe emotional reactions to. The issue is when i asked for a meeting and an apology directly to my son by phone and in writing to ensure his safety was a priority they ignored several requests. All of this i have written proof for and I have reported the school. But the Assistant Principal and Special Needs Coordinator Kim Woods handled things incredibly unprofessionally so I removed my son.

Wonderful environment for learning. Teachers and staff are truly invested in every child's growth.

I absolutely love the staff at this school. Both my children are having a great experience here. One of my kids has an IEP and the specialists have done so much to help her develop her skills. I like that the parents are kept well informed of potential concerns and issues, lockdowns are handled well, and I really trust this school to educate my children and keep them safe. Thank you Swansfield!

A student brought a gun to school. We found out from the news he was a under house arrest for accessory to first degree murder. The student was allowed to attend by the school board ITSELF!!!!! WHY ARE OUR LEADERS WE PUTTING OUR STUDENTS AT RISK?!?!?! It is shameful and negligent. Why are we electing people that rather be politically correct than keep our kids safe?!
