Not everyone who goes to war develops PTSD. This is a used as a metaphor to capture the experience and observations while our child attends this school. If you know your child can stand up and is naturally and biologically resilient to warlike conditions, then they will be fine here. If there are any hints that your child is socially and emotionally average albeit very smart, the culture will negatively impact or potentially traumatize your child. If your child is an obedient type, they will be made to feel anxious about speaking up and will keep silent to avoid punishment. If your child is creative, they will learn how to copy what they are told and not think flexibly. If they like to have fun while learning, they will learn to not have fun to route memorize and meet metrics. If you are a parent that understands laws and human rights, you will battle with your conscience and shove your gut into the incinerator during the time your child attends this school. You will try your utmost to get out to protect yourself and your children in order to lead a balanced and fruitful life. If you are 100% invested only in scores, following the status quo, being silent to ethics, or you are focusing on your own career rather than your child, and you don’t care about anything else you will be at the right place. If you have other priorities or you are the type that advocates for your child, it won’t be a good fit. It will be a daily battle where change can’t happen.

Teachers are nice and they run the school very well.
