GREAT SCHOOL!! I was looking for a change for my daughter who has been in catholic school since pre k-3. The school she previously attended was 5% African American, 80% Caucasian, 15% Asian. She has had to deal with racial comment since pre k-4 at her previous school. She began to loose interest in school. I found St. Benedict The Moor last year. They usually will not accept new students in 4th grade but the principle Mrs. Dumas did. The 3rd and 4th grade teachers at this school are AWESOME!!! The really care about the kids education. This school has helped my husband and I get our daughter back on track. She is starting to love school again!! The staff is very supportive and will go above and beyond to make sure your kids succeed. At this school my daughter has a team of teachers, counselors, and administrators that is there to make sure she stays on track. Not to mention the class sizes are very small. The 4th grade class has 9 students. The only down side is the school stops at 4th grade :(
