Terrytown

When I went to this school, it felt like everyone cared how I was doing. They helped me stay on track, provided mental helth support, and provided an amazing education. However, during leap testing, after we were done testing we had to go take P.E. in the blazing sun. Otherwise best school ever. I am really happy that my little brother gets to experience this amazing school.

This school was the most challenging educational environment I have encountered in my career. The school suffers from a severe lack of care and understanding from the administrative staff, which undermines the support teachers need to succeed. Additionally, there is a significant disengagement among approximately half of the student body, with many students showing no regard for their education, future success, or respect for the efforts of their teachers. Despite educators' dedication to creating meaningful lessons, the lack of motivation and accountability among students severely impacts the learning environment. If given the authority, I would advocate for a complete overhaul of the school to address these systemic issues and create a more effective and supportive educational institution.

Mi experiencia con esta escuela ha sido mala, ya que no son responsables.Mi hijo tuvo que ir a escuela de verano que la directora de esa escuela sugirió por falta de disciplina por parte de los maestros y de ella misma.Esto implicó pagar mucho dinero por ello cuando tenía entendido que son programas gratis.Después de eso ellos tenían que haberme llamado para hacerme saber el proceso a seguir, pero tuve que llamarlos yo y aún así no podían ayudarme.Hacen que los padres gasten dinero en graduación de los niños aún sabiendo que no pasaron grado, no les informan a los padres hasta después de la ceremonia.Eso es entre otras malas experiencias que tuve con esta escuela.

My son doesn’t even go to this school he’s only in the summer program and so far it’s terrible only a few teachers are respectful but over all there’s a teacher who doesn’t know how to compose herself correctly as an adult and who doesn’t know how to interact with the parents she didn’t give me a clear instruction in the carpool lane and she got heated just because I signal to her that I’m still waiting on my child just because I didn’t move up to THE BLUE LINE God forbid making a simple mistake is a crime she proceeded to get my son and she brought him to the car to not only YELL at me in front of him like I’m a child she didn’t let me get a word in and LUCKILY my child was fully in the car she slammed my door shut I never been disrespected like that ever especially when I know I wasn’t disrespectful to begin with she talked to me crazy with so much ease like she was right so just imagine how many others she talked to like that and nothing happens it’s truly sad.

They are constantly asking for money for everything; some teachers mistreat the children, and the principal does nothing—as if what happens in her school didn't matter.
