My child has experienced racism, bullying, and retaliation from the principal and teachers at Brookridge. I have concerns regarding the principal's professionalism. My child reported new teachers yelling at students and physical misconduct towards students. It appears that if a parent expresses disagreement with the principal, she may inform her staff, leading to retaliation against the parent and child. Minority children seem to receive disparate treatment from the principal and staff. Although the school boasts diversity, the staff lacks representation of diversity. Lacks the educational support for students. These allegations warrant investigation and change.

What a great experience we’ve had over the first few months of kindergarten. How did the secretary and principal know our names on the very first day? No idea, but they did. And I know we weren’t the only ones. The teachers I’ve encountered have been so caring, kind, and professional. Mr. Pumphrey (principal), in particular has been extremely patient yet firm in dealing with some behavior issues. The facility is beautiful. The student body is reasonably diverse for the area we are in, and there’s an abundance of community engagement activities. The PTA is very active.

An excellent school. My granddaughter has developed in leaps and bounds academically, mentally and socially. She is now completing first grade but is numeracy and literacy skilled way above her grade level. Thanks for taking such excellent care of her Brookridge!

My children have thrived at Holy Cross. The small class sizes, personalized curriculum, and small-group instruction really help students learn. Having curriculum coaches in Math, ELA, and Science is a big support for both teachers and students.The counselors do a great job supporting students’ emotional well-being. Every teacher and staff member knows my kids by name, and they care about every student. The support team works hard to help each child do their best.
