6/10Calificación de GreatSchoolsClasificación promedio de los padresRiley often falls behind on helping students who need support or evaluations get needed testing or send evaluations to doctors/therapists. They insist your child comes to school even when they don't feel well as long as they don't have a fever and start sending letters home about their attendance policy after 2-3 partial absences and do not care if your child was given a doctor's note, they "don't count." Some students are treated differently than others, kids from the lower income areas and their families are not given the same respect than higher income families. If you're a single parent, have tattoos, or look different- even the first time your child does something to act out, they may tell you your child has "emotional problems" and advise you to get them into therapy. Even minor events, a child having a bad day or crying over something, or a teacher not being kind to them may result in the principal asking you about "changes" or "problems at home" which makes no sense as the issue happened at school, the child is just fine at home, so what is the problem there? Some of the teachers act like they don't even like children. They encourage holding back children to repeat early grades because they need to "mature" despite studies proving retention does not work and makes your child much more likely to quit school later. If your child is falling behind, they would rather hold them back than resolve the issue claiming they can't give individual attention to every student. They hardly go on any field trips, they don't do many activities, "art class" is often crayons or markers & paper, their special activities for music class is banging on plastic buckets from the hardware store, there's very few special events. Some teachers prevent kids from having chapstick, sugar-free vitamin water packs in water bottles, they occasionally take children's belts, hoodies, or other items of clothing they feel are "distracting." On their yearly zoo field trip (one of the only field trips) students were not allowed to bring water so they wouldn't spill it on the bus- meaning students walked around the zoo for a few hours with no water besides what they had with lunch, cleanliness is more important than child's health. They don't always let your kid go to the bathroom when needed and rush them out as well. I've known multiple kids who have gone here, everyone had issues. I would not recommend this school unless you fit their demographic.Parent Revisar1mo ago3 Reseñas - Wilbur Wright Elementary School

3/10Calificación de GreatSchoolsClasificación promedio de los padresI have 3 kids. My older 2 are now in junior and high school while my youngest is in 1st grade. They have encouraged all of my kids to be the best version of themselves they can be and to set goals and reach for them. Learning doesn't come as natural to my youngest as it does to my older 2 and they have helped us find ways that she learns the best. They not only support the kids but they support the parents as well. They truly go above and beyond for the kids and love them each like their own.Parent Revisar7y ago2 Reseñas - Parker Elementary School

3/10Calificación de GreatSchoolsClasificación promedio de los padresA good relationship between a student and their educators is paramount to their success. Parker falls short and seems to have no intention of making an effort to address the situation. Students are left feeling as if they're unimportant and not worth the effort, having a very serious, detrimental impact on the students attending there.Parent Revisar7y ago2 Reseñas
