I have 2 children in this school. I'm not at all pleased with the teachers and the way the children are taught. Children Have had missing assignments for weeks at a time and then finally turn them in and get full credit. How is this teaching our kids responsibility? Its not. Its setting them up for failure in the very near future. This among other various problems.

Northwest school is such an exemplary example of the best that a small-town education has to offer. Terrific teachers and curriculum.

My high honor student with no discipline problems was thrown out because I asked 12+ questions for a group of concerned parents about a teacher who was acting inappropriately with his classes. The teacher threw a book, told the kids hes' the reason he drinks at night and they were nothing but a bunch of little sh!ts. I came forward about this outburst and many more that other brought to my attention. The priest asked for empathy, forgiveness, and two weeks to sort things out with the teacher. I agreed and responded in an email with "I look forward to a fruitful resolution to this matter." The priest responded with "will get back to you." Two weeks later we received a letter from the Diocese removing our son from the school. He did nothing wrong. They humiliated and chastised him. They took him away from the only friends and school he has known, all to protect one of their favorites. After our son was thrown out, other parents wanted to meet with the principal and priest about problems with the teacher. They were denied. They were told to meet invidividually, presumably to remove their kids as well. All are afraid to come forward for fear their child could be removed. The teacher went on rants about homosexuality, politics, the development of the pandemic, etc. He has since told this group of kids that he hates the class. This school is rampant with nepotism and favoritism to a small group. You have no rights with your child in this school. It should be called UNHOLY Family.

I have 3 young children at this school and have felt like we were part of a large family from day one. The administration and teachers all lead the students to follow their faith and serve as community servants. The curriculum is so far ahead of the local public schools and my kids are excelling both academically, faithfully, socially, and emotionally. We are so proud to be part of TCA!
