Positives: teachers prioritize student learning and work hard to keep their class motivated and engaged. Negatives: there is a genuine lack of concern for bullying and student emotional support. When I spoke to the principal about my frustrations she told me I was "sarcastic." I was disappointed in how the school was responding and was upset at how my son had been treated. I told her I was angry and frustrated but nothing I said was untrue. She explained she may have used the wrong word. I don't think a principal should ever speak to a parent that way, especially a parent who is seeking understanding and is frustrated with the experience of her child.
