    "We are friendly with several of our neighbors, we have BBQ'S or have snacks with a few of them. They look out for our place, as we look out for theirs. We definitely watch the "druggies" that come and go from one house across the alley from us."

    "I've lived here for almost 3 years with a friend. It's a crowded house, but we all love this neighborhood. There was only a few incidents that had me concerned, but they seem to have been isolated. Neighbors tend to look out for each other here, like the old days."

    "Dogs in the neighborhood more than most. It is probably the oldest area in Des Moines so the houses aren't brand new but many have been updated and look beautiful"
