We have two kids at Clairemont and have been really impressed with the community, principal, and the teachers. In general, I wish all schools would reduce Chromebook use. I know that is not specific to this school, so that's not a factor in my rating. That said, despite the Chromebook presence, my kids thrive and enjoy learning on paper. The art, music, and Spanish classes are wonderful additions, especially since they start at kindergarten, and when needed, both of my kids have had access to additional support. We love the walk-to-school energy; it's like a little village in the middle of a neighborhood. Adorable and so far, a good learning environment as well.

Highly disappointed. I do not recommend this school. Academically, it has failed my child, who has actually regressed since enrolling. The staff is consistently unprofessional, dishonest, and unsupportive. There are no resources available to help families, and the overall attitude of the staff makes it a very welcoming environment. Save your time and look elsewhere.

Dr Daniel, the principal of Robert Shaw is a gift from God. To us, she is a principal, a teacher, a parent, a counselor and the best leader and motivator I have even seen. My daughter fell in love you with the school thanks to Dr.Daniel.We are so blessed to have her as our principal. I wish Naylah could have such an amazing principal all the way to college.The school also has incredible teachers to include Miss Beasley and Miss Crumedy. They made their classroom a second home for Naylah. Thank you everyone for a wonderful smile once we arrive and once we leave every day Thank you so much for this spectacular school.May God bless you all.
