The school has great school safety Howver they make it a point to alienate the parents from the school. Like they own your child. My child is mine, period. If I’m not a danger then I should be able to speak to teachers and etc. The front office staff is not very friendly they barely smile. I myself am not a fan of public school and this solidified my beliefs.

This school is easily one of the worst elementary schools I’ve experienced in Cobb County. From disrespectful staff to poorly organized events, the overall experience has been extremely disappointing. We are only in the third week of school, and I’ve already had to come to the school in person because of the way staff members have spoken to and treated my child. Communication, professionalism, and organization need serious improvement. Based on my experience so far, I would not recommend this school.

The teachers seem to be mean and bitter towards the students a lot. They take the little recess they do have and pass out silent lunch to the whole class every chance they get. If you don’t like kids or like teaching pls find a new profession and make room for teachers who actually enjoy teaching.

My son & I, overall experience with Austell Primary Elementary has been a blessing! My son 1st started here in 2019 at the beginning of the pandemic, he was entering into K but his teachers were amazing! & you could tell the teachers were overwhelmed but they handled themselves with grace & the staff/teachers/ administrators were very informative of the status of the virus when students were able to attend physical school instead of virtual. Whenever I contact the school on any issue, they are sure to figure it out which I love because I can almost and the time get an answer to my concern. The school has been awesome since the beginning of time, my son is in the 1st grade at the moment.

The school has an extremely poor environment with little to no enrichment activities. Teachers yell and treat my child harshly. It's not a good school, as reflected in the staff, who are rude, and the teachers, who do not involve parents in what’s going on with the child.

Our experience over the last 3 years have been very positive. My kids are happy and well rounded going to The Cumberland School!!!

This is a wonderful school, my kids actually like going to school! If you want to give your kids an academic advantage, DCA is where you want them to be!
