My family moved from South Carolina where our child attended a STEM-curriculum charter school. She was doing OK-ish, there was a lot of teacher turnover and the special services process was very delayed. Our child struggled to read and as parents, we struggled with knowing what to do to help. Once at Barton Chapel we saw immediate improvement in reading ability and confidence! Special needs assessments were handled quickly and professionally. The administration and teachers have been great.

this is the best school I have ever seen the teacher are nice

This is easily one of the worst school in Richmond County and there is not one person who cares to make it any better. The school's staff, the Board of Education, and the Richmond County Sheriff's Office all turn a blind eye to anything going on here. DO NOT ever enroll your child at this school. They'd be better off asking educational questions at the Shell station down the road.

My kids have been to grovetown, and didn’t learn nothing but how to be kicked out. Let’s keep in mind my child that was suspended is on the spectrum but they refused to give him any help. Sue Reynolds on the other hand wa all for helping where they could and provided in school counseling to help him . Also, they have learned a lot more at this school and are treated well. They don’t allow bullying at all so my kids get along well with everyone!

This school was terrible for my kids, especially my second grade daughter. Both, the teachers and staff are extremely rude and treat students like garbage. They encourage them to hide situations from parents and create an atmosphere of fear to the physical punishment. The administration will do nothing about it. This school destroyed my daughter's love for the school.

This school needs new leadership. The current principal is unprofessional and incompetent.
