East Lake

This is my son’s first year at Cypress. We had a great experience. The principal is so personable and loves the students. He is often seen greeting children and parents in the car line. My son’s kindergarten teacher was so sweet and kind. She kept the parents informed with what the kids were learning and doing in the class. She gave individual suggestions of what to work on at home. She was also very responsive to all emails. I would recommend this school.

This school, along with the middle school is the reason we bought the house that we did. Both of our children are in the stem fields and this school and the middle school both have phenomenal engineering programs. The program at the Middle and High School was even better in the past, but it is still fantastic. It is designed to give children a taste of the different Engineering fields so that they will be prepared to choose their major and then proceed into life. Great school!

My daughter, who is now going into her first year of college, went to this school and it was fantastic then, and we have neighbors with children that are currently in this school and they all agree: this elementary school is great! The teachers are kind, understanding, and show that they care about their students. We had regular conversations with the teachers when and if it was needed, however they also sent weekly reports on the progress of their students. I cannot say enough good things about this school!
