"Not a lot of these happening. So we don’t go to any. It would be nice to have them. Since we have two kids we’d love to take them to community events."

"It is a very dog friendly community. There are a lot of dogs here and this complex made a little dog park so there is a place for them to run and play. "

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent of a child with disabilities, I want other families to be aware of the importance of carefully reviewing documentation, especially when it involves behavior, safety, supervision, and IEP decisions. My experience with North Miami Elementary has raised serious concerns about inconsistent documentation, disability-related needs being described without full context, and parent concerns not being fully reflected in the process. I have reviewed records that appear inconsistent with one another, and I became concerned that certain documentation could create an inaccurate perception of my child if not reviewed carefully.Parents should understand that behavior documentation matters. Referrals, behavior logs, FBAs, BIPs, IEP drafts, meeting notes, and emails can all affect how a child is viewed and what supports are provided. If documentation leaves out disability-related context, safety needs, communication needs, supports attempted, or parent input, that can be harmful.I encourage parents to request records in writing, review every document, ask for corrections when something is inaccurate, request meeting notes, and ask for Prior Written Notice when decisions are made or refused. This review is based on my experience and my concerns as a parent. I believe families deserve transparency, accurate documentation, meaningful parent participation, and careful handling of children with disabilities.Parent Review1mo ago5 Reviews - Archcreek Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had to withdraw my son in the middle of the school year due to the school’s complete lack of efficiency, and we are now in legal proceedings because the principal refuses to refund the tuition I paid—even though we left because of her negligence. My son suffered a serious bullying incident, and the principal never responded to a single email or showed any concern. My husband and I wrote multiple times with no reply. I’ve reported the case to the authorities because no child deserves an education in a place that fails to protect them. The principal doesn’t even greet the children when she passes them. The bathrooms have been clogged for years due to the old building, and students are threatened with rules like not being allowed to flush toilet paper. She even tells them there are cameras in the bathrooms. Instead of improving the outdated facilities, she constantly asks for donations to buy the building next door. Teachers don’t stay longer than one or two school years because of the way they’re treated.I absolutely do not recommend this school to any family looking for a safe and respectful environment for their childrenParent Review1y ago12 Reviews - Holy Cross Lutheran School
