"Foggy bottom is home to GWU and the state Dept. Metro friendly, safe, plenty of shopping. I’ve lived in fb for 12 years and love it "

"University area is good for social life and good hangout places. It is very hip and trendy place to start getting accustomed to DC lifestyle"
  • Tleverentz
"There is a good mix of people who’ve lived in the neighborhood a long time, and college students who live here for a short time. It’s the first place I’ve lived in the DC area where I actually know my neighbors. There are lots of dogs in the neighborhood, and the owners are generally very responsible and friendly. "

"it's a one-sided street. My street is very small area. we don't have much noise if you include the farms in the early morning hours "
  • Darren E.
"Lots of people and narrow sidewalks. Also not much grass. Though there are parks within walking distance."
  • Darren E.
"Ride share is easy to use. The metro is really close. You could bike, but narrow sidewalks and streets cause issues for that."
  • Darren E.
"It has fantastic food. It's also super close to the metro. And basically anywhere you think you could want to go is nearby."
  • Darren E.
"It's a college area, so kids will probably be safe. Make sure they have a friend, though. Sketchy people show up late at night."
  • eva r.
"Dog owners would not like the lack of grass. But they would like the variety of walks they could take."
  • eva r.
"You can take the metro, walk, or maybe even a bus."
