    "This is a great area to live in. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful. The homes are well kept, the shopping malls and businesses are a few of blocks away, yet secluded and quiet. Parks, beaches, entertainment, within minutes. Award-winning schools attract great families to settle here from all over the world. Excellent weather all year round, fresh air and soft breezes allow for the enjoyment of the outdoors, with great places to walk, bike and exercise. The city is thoughtfully run, responsive and clean, with a caring community. Affordable entertainment for all ages, with close access to world class entertainment parks, like Disneyland, Universal Studios, Knotts-Berry Farm, museums and theaters. With great transportation and a positive outlook, Torrance is celebrating its 100th year : 1912- 2012."

    "I've lived in Seaside for 20 years and it's a hidden jewel. Just one mile from the ocean, we get the breezes but rarely the overcast weather that so often makes the beach so cold or depressing. I can drive down the street (I live on a hill) and it's sunny and gorgeous here and I reach PCH and head to the beach - and it's like you're in a completely different place."
