"I think education/workshops about how to be a better dog-owner or take care of pet in public settings will be helpful to the safety and wellness of the communities."
  • Trulia User
"easy access by car to 280 south and 101 North and South. short walk to either Balboa or Glen Park BART stations."

"More families have moved in to the area and it's been great! the area feels safe and kids are often playing outside together. Also, gives us parents a chance to get to know each other. "
  • Trulia User
"Suburb with a twist, quality of life is well distributed and area is well maintained. Close to the movida but not the center of it."
  • Trulia User
"Probably the nicest area for family in the whole city, it offers options for schools and parks. Monterey blvd has the most traffic but the avenues are safe and quiet "
  • Trulia User
"Walking distance to Bart, between 10-15 minutes. Bus stops all along Monterey blvd and bike rental options nearby. "
  • Danielle C.
"You see dogs walking, dogs barking, Balboa park dog area close by and friendly neighbors who have ended up being dog watchers for us!"
  • Trulia User
"It’s quiet with lots of kids, and has a couple parks at walking distance. City college is also very close so there’s plenty of things neighbors can do there. "
  • Scodubru
"Easy access to public transportation and 5 BART stops to downtown SF. Very easy access to 280 Freeway for Peninsula commute."

"The neighborhood has access to the highway to commute to Silicon Valley or elsewhere. Also Bart and muni are nearby. 20 min drive to downtown. "
  • Allison L.
"Lots of dogs in this neighborhood, al friendly. There is a few parks near by. I don’t k ow what a dog owner wouldn’t like, maybe that the yards aren’t humongous, but it’s the city. "

"Quiet little SF hamlet - 10 minutes away from downtown by BART! Easy highway access, awesome parks, great restaurants. Can't beat it. "
  • blareed
"We have lived here for over 10 years and it has always been a great place with easy access to transportation, a great local park, and now the Glen Park village is even more vibrant with multiple great restaurants and bars and well as a wonderful local grocery. Great for singles with dogs and families as well. Such a amazing place and community right in the middle of SF."
  • Sokobiz
"Easy to walk to BART. Driving is two minutes from 101 and 280 freeways. Very safe. Very easy parking."
  • Stephanie W.
"This is Glen Park proper. It is walking distance to the BART and is right down the street from the Sunnyside Park which offers basketball, tennis and a children's playground. This is ideal for families or couples who just want to have an extra bedroom (or two) and bay views from their deck."
  • J M. P. C. C.
"This community is quite and yet it is geographically close to City College, the Sunset, Glen Park, BART, freeway access and so much more. Prices being what they are, you'll get a lot more value for your buck. And this house is a cutie!"
  • Heather F.
"Fantastic public schools and parks, easy access to public transport (glen park bart), and close proximity to glen park/noe valley/west portal shopping and restaurants. The neighborhood has tons of families with young kids buying their first home in SF. Sunnyside playground is awesome! "
