Forest Knolls

My daughter was emotionally abused by one of the first grade teachers at this school. Instead of addressing the problem the principal has chosen to ignore it and me. Ive been told by other students that this teacher is known for being very mean. It's unfortunate that the students such as my child have to endure such treatment.

We are so grateful to have found Forest Charter, it is truly what education should feel like for both students and parents! No matter what our needs are, the school meets our children where they are rather than forcing them to change to meet the school where it is. Whether it has been learning differences that presented difficulties or excelling in certain areas and needing more challenging material, Forest Charter always had the heartbeat of what our two students needed. It is never a perfunctory conversation that is rushed at an Open House, but teachers and administrators are consistently initiating and receptive to dialogue about what students need. This is not done on an annual basis, but on a regular basis and based on what they are observing or what I as a parent broach for discussion. We make a plan together and then as students, they have buy in. Being part of the team, instead of being talked down to, really gives them an investment in their learning that has resulted in results that we never thought possible. Thank you, Forest Charter, for restoring the love of learning! Both our boys thank us regularly for finding them such an amazing school!

We've been with this school for almost 4 years now. It feels like home away from home. The community in this school is amazing. I can teach my boys the way they need to be taught and the teachers are always willing to help with ideas when needed.

My family has loved this sweet school! I have had three kids go here and all the teachers are great! They have a carnival night around Halloween, a fantastic mini marathon and end of year parties where the kids go to the pool.
