While doing distance learning, my child wasn't turning in homework. She was attending every day. Had her camera on, participated in class but didn't turn in assignments. Did the teacher ever reach out to me? Of course not. My child had 3 months of missing assignments. When I found out about it, the teacher AND principal aid, oh she can make up the missed assignments over Thanksgiving break. If she's not caught up by Christmas break, she won't pass. Ok, so can you put new assignments on hold until she catches up? She's already doing 3-4 days assignments in 1 day. The principal said no, what's 1 or 2 assignments a day going to hurt?

Poorly. Ira Harbison is an organization that has fallen far from Grace. These people here do not understand that they are short changing these students and jeopardizing their futures because these "educators" would rather fill learning time with things that will not help them navigate their academic future as students continue to be left wholefully unprepared for the next level of their education.

Principal rude Office staff rude And we go to district and complained and nothing is done. Kids are been bully and is not taken seriously. And the students is still at school. I thought ZERO TOLERANCE was in registration packet. Then, you wonder why kids defend themselves after been bullying and PRINCIPAL DOESN'T DO ANYTHING. Already told my children someone does anything to them to calle ASAP!! For sure transfering my kids out of this district as soon school year is over!!!

To sum it up in one word. Prejudice. Tip to teachers: "difficult" students are individuals who want/need to be reached out to. Please take the time to work with them, no matter how discouraged you get. Don't give up on us. --Student left behind
