"Well located and near all super markets and restaurants. Freeway connections are good too. There can be traffic during peak hours but otherwise it is well moving."

"40-60 min to Silicon Valley by car. Access to highways takes a long time. School rush hour backs up main entrance into neighborhood."

"This area is very unique and although it’s a part of Fremont, it stands on its own because of the people. Niles is a neighborhood where we all look out for one another and make an effort to stay authentic and connected. "

"Horrible commute daily from Fremont to Oakland. Over an hour to drive 22miles. Also, drive from Niles to center of Fremont often takes 30 minutes. It’s only 5-6 miles! "
  • Mario H.
"It’s a quiet neighborhood. People are always walking around with their children or pets. Lots of events happen in Niles all year. Car shows, swap meats, ect"
  • Mryjanemorris
"When you drive down the main street, it’s like going back in time. You’ll find antique stores and ice cream and the best pizza in town. There’s always something going on from car shows to garden tours. We even have a train but you can take through the canyon To the next town for a picnic."
  • Michael J.
"Traditional town like vibe . Respectful community. It’s kinda in its own little spot in town, and holdups the north east part of town more or less the bottom of Niles Canyon. "

"Living in the bay area can be a little crazy and in this area of Fremont you will find an oasis of tranquility in this sea a craziness. Main Street has many antique shops and a growing number of great eating venues. If you forget something at the grocery store Mikey's probably carries the item. The elementary school has a great reputation and this past spring as I was walking my dog I watched the kids square dancing on the front patio of the school."
