"Having lived in Davis for approximately 14 years, I can say it is clean, safe, friendly, good schools, great community, and just a nice place to live. South Davis in particular has easy access to the freeway and great walking/running trails in addition to parks everywhere. From our house, there are three parks within walking distance and half dozen within an easy bike ride. The schools are great with lots of parental involvement, friendly climate, and tremendous community support. Davis is a great place to live whether your a family with children, retiree, or a parent sending their student off to college at UC Davis. It is a little pricey relative to surrounding areas, but it's worth it! "
