Room available in a shared 1,500 square foot house conveniently located in Worcester's desirable Tatnuck (West side) neighborhood with quick and easy access to I-290, Route 122, downtown Worcester, and many of the area's major employers and universities, including UMass Chan Medical School, Worcester State University, WPI, Assumption University, and Saint Vincent Hospital. Quiet and established residential neighborhood near Newton Square, walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, CVS, grocery stores, and parks, local walking trails are all nearby, making it easy to enjoy both convenience and a peaceful setting.

This well-maintained older home has plenty of character, with original hardwood floors throughout, large windows that bring in abundant natural light, and a decorative fireplace.
Surrounded by mature trees and bordering wooded areas, the house offers a calm, private atmosphere where you'll wake up to birdsong and enjoy quiet evenings. The first floor provides several comfortable shared spaces, including:

Well-equipped kitchen

The home is thoughtfully furnished with a clean, minimalist aesthetic. There is room for a few additional pieces of furniture if needed, though the goal is to keep shared spaces uncluttered and neutral. Additional amenities include:

Carport and garage parking
Plenty of street parking

The available bedroom (14' X 12') is on the second floor. It can be rented as partially furnished (with a bed) or unfurnished, based on preference. The bedroom has a walk in closet. It is possible to reconfigure one of the spaces on the first floor as a workspace/office space, also available for occasional visitors with advance communication. There is one full bathroom (on the second floor) and one half bathroom (on the first floor), both are shared.

Pets: The house currently has no pets, but it is cat-friendly.

Rent & Utilities: Rent is $1650/month. The utilities cost on average $300/month including water/sewer, internet, heating, and electricity. One months security deposit and proof of income are required.

No smoking allowed in side. 1 months security deposit.
Both short term or long term arrangements will be considered.
Move-in anytime after August 31, 2026.
