Cute Home on the Grid 2 Bed / 1 Bath $2,800

This is a special home to our family. We're hoping to find someone special who will appreciate it and make it their home, too.

It's a 103-year-old with lots of character. Everyone who walks in seems to say the same thing: "Cute." We've taken care of it and made some nice updates, including recently fresh paint, refinished floors, a new stove and refrigerator, and a fancy washer/dryer.

The location is hard to beat. Heart of the Grid, East 5th Street dead-ends at Park Elementary, making it a quiet street while still being close to everything. It's an easy stroll to Main Street, the Durango & Silverton train station, and Durango Natural Foods. Homeslice Pizza is one block away, and both Fanto Park and Park Elementary are a half a block away. Horse Gulch trails and the Animas River bike path are also close by, with easy access to Santa Rita Park, the whitewater park, and the river trail. Durango Mesa Park outdoor music and performance venue allegedly opening within walking distance summer 2027.

The backyard is a little oasis, with a deck that gets great southern sun and is tucked away from the spring winds. There are views of Smelter Mountain and Raider Ridge. The neighbors are lovely cool people.

Pets will be considered individually and require the landlord's prior written approval. The landlord must meet the pet before approval. For an approved pet, additional pet rent and a refundable pet deposit will apply, consistent with C.R.S. 38-12-106. Pet approval is not guaranteed. There is a doggy door.

Application requirements:
All adult applicants (18+) must complete tenant screening, including credit and background checks. The application fee is $35 per adult applicant, paid directly to the screening company.
