The large deck overlooks the river, and there's a smaller deck in the garden, equipped with patio furniture, beach chairs, an umbrella, and a barbecue. Laundry facilities include a modern washer and dryer. This hideaway is close to everything walk to shops, stores, the beach, the library, or the spa. Not just a house but a home, offering 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and fully furnished with all the amenities.

Award-winning restaurants within walking distance include Shadowbrook and Gayle's Bakery. Casual dining options like Zelda's, Paradise Grill, Margaritaville, and a host of interesting shops are located at the beach, just minutes away on foot.

Capitola is a quaint, Italian-style beachfront community that attracts visitors from around the world. It is known for its colorful Begonia Festival, Art and Wine Show, and was named one of California's best beach towns by Sunset magazine.

Activities include beach outings, boating, surfing, swimming, hiking, cinemas, restaurants, a fitness center, shopping, live theater, the 41st Avenue Mall, hospital, ATMs and banks, groceries, wine tasting, fishing, antiquing, golf, summer movies, and live entertainment on the beach. Depot Hill offers spectacular views of Monterey Bay. Nearby Pleasure Point attracts surfers with its great views from the cliffs. The Santa Cruz Beach and Boardwalk provide fun for a day with the kids.

Day Trips: Enjoy trips to Monterey Bay Aquarium, San Francisco, Big Sur, and Carmel, all featuring lovely views of the coast along Highway 1.
