2BR, 1 BA unfurnished mountain cabin located in a lovely, quiet wooded setting. Experience privacy and fresh mountain air from the rocking chair covered porch. Borders the new Headwaters State Forest and offers private access where you can enjoy outdoor activities including hiking, biking and viewing the spectacular Hidden Falls waterfall. Enjoy a peaceful mountain home that's just a short drive to the quaint town of Brevard, Cedar Mountain, and Dupont State Forest. The cabin is equipped with central heat, air conditioning and washer and dryer. One small well trained dog allowed or one litter box trained cat.

You must first apply to the rental program and be approved before we can schedule to show you available properties. Click on the PROPERTY SEARCH tab and then the LONG-TERM RENTALS tab. From there, you can select the available home you like and apply. Each person age 18 and over must apply separately. Once your application is approved, you will be called to discuss your home criteria. If there is a waiting list, you will be placed on our waiting list in order by date approved. When properties become available that meet your criteria, we will schedule a time for you to view the properties that are of interest to you. Approval is good for any available home in the program for one year.

    "The town has a number of street festivals with Arts and crafts and food vendors. They just had a big bike race- Assault on the Carolinas. There is an annual AAUW used book sale with +30k books. Every 4th Friday of the month there is an arts walk. I live around the corner from the Lumberyard Arts area."
