"there is a lot of family's that live here that own dogs and cats..there are cars.tgat get to roam and as for the dog a few that get to run off leash once in a while..dont care for that or that most do not pick up behind their furry friend. I feel pretty safe around here for the most part and there is just about anything and everything that you can think of to eat at or shop at..one strip has it all."
  • Amanda W.
"I hate belton, missouri. We are looking to move this summer and get away from all the drugs and violence in belton "

"Belton has plenty of very family-friendly neighborhoods. there are some less desirable ones, as in every town, but the good outweigh the bad here by a landslide. The schools are above average and like the cities economy they're only getting better. "
  • Wessmothermon
"There’s a bunch of backpack wearing homeless tweaked riding bikes and pulling carts if stuff they have found in the trash it’s really nice 🙂🙂"

"I t's spacious, and a lot of places you can walk with your dog I think dogowners would like it around here!! "

"No access to public transportation. Car or working legs is a must. The main drag of 58 highway is usually a mess because of all the stop lights. But if you know the back roads it is easily avoidable. "
  • Karanita G. B.
"High Crime Rate. High Drug Availability. 58 Highway is very congested. Schools seem invested in their kids. "
  • Wessmothermon
"There’s to many homeless drug addicts here can’t wait till my credit is good enough to by a house somewhere else "
  • Wessmothermon
"The neighborhood is declining rapidly!Theres a bunch of homeless drug addicts all over the place!!Its really sad."
  • Mustangjenny39
"This neighborhood is dog friendly. I see people walking their dogs all the time on the sidewalk. I don’t hear dogs barking all hours if the night as it’s a pretty quiet neighborhood. "
  • Gorgeousg23
"It’s secluded and off the beaten path with lots of room to roam but within ten minutes of everything! "
  • Valarie S. M.
"Loose dogs almost all the time and a lot of out door cats. No sidewalks always having to watch out for cars."
  • Vicky M.
"The neighbors on each side of us. Having a elementary school close to our neighborhood. Lovely trees and beautiful yards."
  • Brett M.
"Belton is a nice area that isn't too busy or overpopulated. You can still get around town pretty easy without a lot of traffic. The schools are good and overall the Belton/Raymore area is family-friendly. There are plenty of conveniences, but the one thing I wish there were more of is decent restaurants. There are a lot of fast food places, but not really much for sit down places with any kind of atmosphere. The parks and rec do a great job and the community center is really nice."
  • tdickey
"Belton Mo is a wonderful place to live. This home is near schools and convenience stores. Very light traffic on the weekends."
