The Aliso Street Adobe is a registered historical landmark adobe duplex, with a beautiful garden, on a quiet street, downtown, walking distance to everything. You've probably walked by it if you go to the farmer's market :-)
Zillow is labeling it an apartment which of course it is not. All exterior walls are adobe including the wall between the two homes which makes them soundproof from each other and the living areas and windows are oriented away from each other. The framing is all redwood and the wood floors are all solid Doug fir. The bathroom floor is a beautiful encaustic concrete tile.
The kitchen counters are honed granite and the double kitchen sink and tub are cast iron.
The home is in great condition and is available fully furnished and outfitted as per the photos or unfurnished.
A dutch door in the kitchen accesses the lovely east facing Saltillo tile patio which is very private and completely fenced in with a front arched gateway.
All utilities and maintenance are included.
Parking is on the street in front and is never a problem except during the farmers market.
It will be available on September 1 on a month to month or annual lease basis.
Unfortunately the only opportunity for viewing between now and September will be on Wednesday July 17th.
Also, coincidentally, the other home will be available for rent beginning December 1st.

Farmers Market, Groceries, Parks, Nightlife, Live Music and Public transportation. It’s also a safe neighborhood, and you can leave things outside, including packages that have been left outside, with it being there the next morning. "
