This is a unique family home located in the Ormond Beach Historic District and includes 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a wrap around 9 ft wide and approximately 70 ft long covered verandah/porch.

The property is located 2 blocks from the Intercoastal waterway (Halifax River) and nearby to parks and boat/canoe/paddle boat launch pads. The location provides a multitude of lifestyle opportunities for leisure cycling, walking, canoeing, kayaking and even boating. There is a gravel driveway area to park and a shed.
Should you meet the requirements listed under `Lease Terms', please provide the following information before we set up a time for you to view the property: number of adults and children who intend to live at property and your current employer and annual income.

HISTORICAL INFO ABOUT THE HOME: The home has undergone renovations and we have attempted to hold on to the old-style original character of the home while modernizing where we can. This is a `one of a kind' unique home with a very large wrap-around verandah/porch which is additional square footage. The undercover verandah/porch is ideal for enjoying the beautiful outdoors. There is ample car parking at the side of house.
Note that this property contains an upstairs separately rented (and separately metered for electricity) apartment which has its own external entry from a side street entrance which does not in any way compromise the privacy of the home. During the history of rental of this property the apartment with a single occupant has not hindered occupants of the house. as both are quite separate on a very large corner block of land The apartment does not have access to the front yard, verandah/patio and the backyard. Nor does it use the same driveway from the same street. (As a corner block, access to the house is from one street and apartment another street.)

This property is on a large `double' lot with approximately half of the double lot left as natural sanctuary for birds and other wildlife. The block is fully fenced. The home is located close to Ormond Library, City Hall, Schools, Parks, Ormond Beach Pier and public boat ramps. Note again that the rental rate of $1350 includes a regular commercial lawn mowing service as well as water (up to $70 a month). You pay for your own electric meter.

Our ideal tenants will be a couple or a young family who are responsible so that while enjoying the property they also care for it.

Rental references and a background check will be undertaken to determine your suitability as a tenant

Lease period will be 1 year
Rental rate of $1350 per month will include a lawn mowing service and water (up to $70 per month)
