This is the upper unit of the duplex, and it's the rear house on the property, with a nice community of long term tenants.

From the entry stairs on the right, you step into the sunny kitchen with vintage tile and gas stove. There's a small room off the kitchen, perfect for a home office, that looks out over the rear garden. From the kitchen, a doorway leads to cozy living room, with a large front window and 2nd doorway to the outside. The sunny bedroom is off the living area and has a large window overlooking the backyard. The central hall bath has a shower over tub.

Awesome location: tucked into a quiet, shady block but in the center of everything. Four blocks to Ashby BART station and the Berkeley Bowl. 6 blocks to the awesome weekly Adeline Farmer's Market and local favorite bakery Sweet Adeline. Super easy trip by bike, bus, or foot to almost anywhere in Berkeley.
