About this House
ONE block to UCB
The north entrance to campus is literally across the street at the corner of the block.
The home currently houses 7 grad students and post grads. Some have stayed beyond their graduation because the home is so spacious with 2 renovated kitchens and 2 livingrooms and 4 bathrooms. Built with thick walls the century-old Mediteranean home is quiet with high ceilings, wood floors, elegant rod iron fixtures, patio, and rooftop deck overlooking bay. Friday night movies with our movie projector, barbeques, and rooftop lounge overlooking the bay is a plus because of lifelong and international friendships we tend to find here.
The utilities = $150 that cover wifi, gas, electricity, water, and free front loading washer/dryer. Landlady pays garbage. The popular Gourmet Ghetto for all the eating and shopping you ever need and downtown BART station is just a short walk This is the best safe and convenient location for a student or post grad. If you are interested in the one private furnished bedroom still available, please tell us about yourself and send your contact information.
The landlady lives in a separate studio in the backyard and shares ocasional dinners in a family atmosphere as students feel this as a second home.
