My child was bitten 3 times within a month. They do not have cameras in their special education classrooms and the “teacher” is not qualified to deal with these situations. She had two aids and a total of 6 children (all of the children were nonverbal). I was assured he’d be in a mixed classroom and he was not. My son was not protected and he is traumatized from any biting he sees because of what was let happen to him. Principal made every effort to contact ex when I was withdrawing son from her school but never contacted me about the biting incidents as I’d requested. Principal is also very unprofessional and doesn’t call parents by name, only refers to them as “mom” and “dad.” These children look so sad at this school, I wish I’d never sent my son here… for any parent who doesn’t know this, if you’re transferring your child here from ECI, they can receive walk-in speech therapy without having to be enrolled in this school.
