Despite being Hispanic myself the racism I’ve experienced in this school is horrible..and the school does not care at all not only are the students immature but the teachers as well the amount of good people in the school that I know, I can only count them with one hand. The teachers casually cuss and most of the time support racism/slurs/bullying/sexism in fact sometimes they even engage in it. Anytime a student does one of these things RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM it’s just silence or laughing. I’ve even experienced assault and racism by one of the teachers! Ive reported these incidents for my first two years in this school and nothing was done they don’t even make any announcements or warnings and when they did they watered it down!! The only thing I like about this school is the very few teachers and friends that are actually mature and care. I’ve literally cried over the racism I’ve either experienced or witnessed. The school claims to care about bullying but always defend the bully when it gets bad to the point the victim tries to defend themselves! Not once have I ever felt truly safety when I was in the school, I would always be aware of my surroundings because people will either take pictures of you to mock you or try to steal from you. Am glad I don’t go to this school anymore because this is by far the worst part of life.

Dislike this school. Cant get a hold of anyone in the office. I have to call the district in order to talk to someone. Teachers don’t care about the students.

This is the worst school ever as a former student. I have attended once in Kindergarten and i can tell you and this school was the absolute definition of what’s wrong with this world. Nobody! Not even the teachers respected me. They had previewed me a first grade class and the teacher was RUDE. The staff and aides didn't care for people with disabilities, plus they took away freedom of allowance because ONE time a girl which i believed was 5, 6 or 7 walked up to me and said “You cant have change only adults can” and stole my pennies i had and gave them to one of the aides as this is theft. Please don’t enroll your kids to this school because i was almost S.A’ed by my classmates. Thank god i moved from Montebello where i would later then attend another district which was meh and when i entered 6th grade i enrolled to another district but not moved from the place moved into in 2018. Remember never send your kids to this school as this school needs to be demolished and always send them to any other schools other than this hellhole district.Sincerely, -a Current Student in the Walnut Valley Unified School district And former student in this district for 2017-18
