Available October 1st! This cabin is unfurnished even though you will see furniture in the photos. It is a nice little cabin only two blocks away from the public piers on Donner Lake. There are 2 bedrooms that fit queen beds and two full bathrooms. It has a woodfire stove, so you can keep the house warm and cook during a power outage. We also have a propane heater that does just fine in the winter. Otherwise, this house is very efficient. There is no need for cooling in the summer because of the tile floors. If you open the windows at night and close them in the morning the tile floor will cool down and hold it very well throughout the day. There is shed for storage as well as storage under the deck. The deck is very large for the size of the house. The driveway can fit two full size vehicles and there is a extra parking space below the shed, as well as public parking across the street. I would like to rent this to someone who knows the Truckee winters, especially Donner Lake because we get more snow than anyone else. It is good to hire the plow service as well as have your own snowblower or you might get into trouble.

I would like to start with a one year lease to a fulltime renter. If the relationship goes well, then I am open to a 3-5 year after that.

If you don’t have a tracker or if your dog doesn’t return on command then you might want to think about keeping them on a leash. There is a lot of wild life to make your dog run off and get lost. "
