Lo que dicen los locales sobre Quakertown

Review Highlights

En inglés
Quakertown pulses with small-town ease: family-friendly, nature-laced, and highway-handy. Safe, friendly, walkable core; parks, trails, local events; easy access to 309 and the turnpike. Traffic and truck noise; scant transit; some speeding and dog-waste.

"Casey’s place is the place to go. Corn hole mondays, specials all week, plus amazing service. Too bad the mill isn’t open anymore or hasn’t become a new great space "
  • Feckertjr
"My neighborhood is very quiet. When disaster hits they pull together to help one another. It’s the kind of community where everyone knows one another and look out for the kids. "
  • Steve B.
"It’s wonderful here. I never worry. Kids are safe. It’s culturally diverse. Nature is in our backyards, from deer to bald eagles, this area of the country is amazing. "
  • Villanopha26

"the Richland township parks dept is probably one of the most active I have ever encountered. great first Friday ideas like out door movie or t he fire dept cheese steak grab and go. Being walking distance to Quakertown parks and main St helps as well."

"They would like that it is a pet friendly neighbirhood. There is ample space to walk your dog. One thing they might not like is there are a lot of dogs in this neighborhood. Sometimes you might want to walk your dog without the distraction of other dogs. Also there are a lot of stay cats. "
  • Rmtorres1112
"You definitely need a car here. Roads are typically open and clear. Close access to 309, 313, and the turnpike"
  • Derek.hunt
"Depending on where you are in Springfield, it’s either a neighborhood or the country so most dogs have a lot of room with very little interaction with other dogs. Should be concerned if you are in the country, watch for coyote, foxes, and your dog may chase deer away."
  • Chikengirl2
"Nice place to raise kids. School districts very good. You can drive a few minutes out of town and be in farmland and woods. Noxamixon state park is near by where you can fish and go out onto the lake by renting a boat. Bike trails at the park are great. I plan to move back to the area in a few years because family is here and I miss the area. "

"Busy during rush hour peak, lots of big rigs up and down main roads and highway, much easier to live in town and walk or bike instead of ride. Unless you have to drive to destinations. But al around a decent area to live in. "
  • Quincy R.
